What types of extensions are there?

There are several types of eyelash extensions available, each offering different looks, materials, and application techniques. Here are some common types of eyelash extensions:

  1. *Classic Eyelash Extensions:* In classic eyelash extensions, a single extension is applied to each natural lash. This technique adds length and some volume for a natural look.

  2. *Volume Eyelash Extensions:* Volume lashes involve applying multiple lightweight extensions to each natural lash, creating a fuller and more dramatic look. This technique can achieve a more fluffy and voluminous effect.

  3. *Hybrid Eyelash Extensions:* Hybrid lashes are a mix of classic and volume lash techniques. This style combines the natural look of classic lashes with the added volume of volume lashes for a balanced appearance.

  4. *Mega Volume Eyelash Extensions:* Mega volume lashes involve applying even more extensions to each natural lash, creating a very dense and dramatic look with maximum fullness and length.

  5. *Pre-made Fans Eyelash Extensions:* Pre-made fans are clusters of lashes that are already fanned out and ready to be applied to the natural lashes. They are a quicker way to achieve a voluminous look compared to handmade volume lashes.

  6. *Silk, Mink, or Synthetic Eyelash Extensions:* Eyelash extensions can be made from various materials, including silk, mink, or synthetic fibers. Each type of material offers different looks and feels.

  7. *Colored Eyelash Extensions:* These extensions come in various colors and can be used to create a fun and unique look or to match your natural hair color.

  8. *Flat Eyelash Extensions:* Flat lashes have a flat base, which provides a thicker look compared to traditional round lashes. They are lightweight and can create a more dramatic appearance.

  9. *Lash Lift:* While not technically extensions, a lash lift is a treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes, giving the appearance of longer, fuller lashes without the need for extensions.

These are just a few examples of the types of eyelash extensions available. It's essential to consult with a trained lash technician to determine the best type of extensions for your desired look and natural lashes.

What are the effects of eyelash extensions?

Extension effects are options for combining eyelashes of different lengths and thicknesses.

Popular effects include:

· NaturalThe shape and curves of eyelash extensions closely follow the natural growth of your eyelashes. In fact, you get the effect of well-made-up eyes, expressive and neat, “eyelash to eyelash.”

· Natural fox. Almost like the previous one, only in the corner of the eye the lash maker extends slightly longer ones eyelashes. Visually, the eye lengthens slightly.

· Fox. A pronounced effect of flirtatious “fox” eyes. The effect of an arrow is created, and the look becomes more sensual.

· Wispy lashes refer to a style of eyelash extensions that are designed to create a soft, feathery, and fluttery look.Wispy lashes typically have a combination of longer and shorter lashes interspersed to create a textured and natural appearance. These lashes are popular for providing a more subtle and romantic look compared to more dramatic styles like voluminous or dramatic lashes. Wispy lashes are versatile and can be suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions, depending on the length and volume of the wispy lashes chosen. Wispy lashes are often favored for their ability to enhance the eyes without looking overly dramatic or heavy, making them a popular choice among those who prefer a more understated yet elegant eyelash look.

· Doll-like. Rounded shape of the eyelash row, which seems to “open up” the gaze. Optimal if you need to visually enlarge your eyes.

We model the shape of eyelashes by combining different options. So that the resulting effect takes into account your wishes and ideally matches your eye shape.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

The lifespan of eyelash extensions typically ranges from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes and how well you take care of them. As your natural lashes shed, so will the extensions attached to them. It is recommended to get touch-ups or fills every 2-3 weeks to maintain the fullness and appearance of your eyelash extensions. Proper maintenance, such as avoiding oil-based products, rubbing your eyes, and excessive exposure to water, can also help prolong the life of your eyelash extensions.

Artificial, silk or mink?

Let's reveal the secret: modern eyelashes for extensions are 100% artificial.
And the names “silk”, “mink”, “sable” are only conditional terms. They are used to make it easier for the technician to navigate eyelashes of different lengths and thicknesses.

Real animal hairs are not used because:
· They often cause allergies, especially on the eyes;
· They are difficult to bend at the desired angle;
· Natural wool in beautiful condition will not last long on your eyelids.

In our studio, premium synthetic eyelashes are extended, made from artificial monofilament. Their advantages:
· Hypoallergenic and safe for the eyes;
· Easily take the desired shape and bend;
· Available in different thicknesses - from standard to weightless ultra-thin;
· Resistant to humidity: you can swim in the sea , in the pool and walking in the rain;
· Durable, retain color and shape, do not require special care. I built it up and forgot it!

Just tell the specialist what effect you would like. And he will advise the most suitable option: taking into account individual facial features, eye shape and the condition of natural eyelashes.

How to remove eyelashes yourself?

Let's start with the fact that we do not recommend removing eyelashes yourself. Unfortunately, in practice it is often necessary to correct the consequences. A typical situation - a girl removed her eyelashes at home, pulled, tugged, and the eyelash extensions “came off” along with her own.

There is good news! You can safely remove eyelashes yourself. Brief instructions:
1. Don't read advice on the Internet! They are often written by people who are very far from the profession of lash maker.
2. Ask our masters. We'll tell you in detail how to do it correctly, and tell you the name of the special tool.

Attention! Before applying new extensions, we will remove your artificial eyelashes absolutely free.

Warranty terms

The first 7 daysafter the extension there is a guarantee. This means that we will redo the workabsolutely free of charge, if suddenly something goes wrong - you will feel uncomfortable, your eyelashes will fall out more than normal, etc.

Why Is this particular period chosen?

All shortcomings of the extension appear immediately, in the first 3-4 days. For your peace of mind, we have extended the warranty period to one week. During this period, we can be sure that the problem is really in our work, and not in other reasons.

What if I can’t get to you within a week?

If you can’t come in the first 7 days, we will sign you upfor a later dateAny one that suits you. But! This is only if you report the problem immediatelyno later than 7 days after extensions: tell us by phone what happened and send photos of the eyelashes.

*warranty does not apply to 0.5d

Are eyelash extensions harmful?

Extensions do not harm your own eyelashes in any way. On the contrary, it is useful.

The stereotype that eyelash extensions are harmful arose in the era of false eyelashes. They were glued directly onto the eyelid. The glue irritated the delicate skin of the eyes, which caused all sorts of troubles.

Today the picture is completely different:

· Modern eyelash extensions are safe: artificial eyelashes are glued directly onto natural eyelashes, indented from the eyelid. Thus, they do not interact with the skin.

· The low weight of synthetic eyelashes - they are lighter than mascara - only helps to strengthen the root of your own eyelashes. In addition, with new eyelashes you will apply makeup to your eyes much less often. This means rubbing your eyelids less, which will prolong the youth of the skin around your eyes.

· Eyelashes are a natural barrier to dust and bacteria. With artificial eyelashes, your eyes receive additional protection.

It is important that the extension procedure is performed by an experienced lash maker. Our extension technology has been tested on more than 12,000 clients. And we guarantee the complete safety of your natural eyelashes.

Why can my natural eyelashes fall out?

Your own eyelashes fall out for three main reasons:

1. Natural renewal. Eyelashes change in the same way as hair: old ones fall out and new ones grow in their place. This process is continuous. Normally, 1-4 eyelashes fall off per day.

2. Disturbances in the body. In this case, eyelashes may fall out more massively. This can happen due to: stress, hormonal changes (pregnancy, taking medications, etc.), alcohol and drug poisoning, lack of vitamins, etc.

3. Incorrect care. For example, you rub your eyes too much and pull your eyelashes, the makeup remover is not suitable, you don’t take care of your eyes at all, etc.

Extensions in themselves do not provoke the loss of natural eyelashes, unless they have been weakened initially. Therefore, only use extensions on healthy eyelashes!

Rules for caring for eyelash extensions

The rules for caring for your eyelashes depend on when you had the extensions done.

During the first 24 hours after the extensions, the glue polymerizes. During this time, you need to treat your eyes with extreme care. It is advisable not to get them wet, not to use cosmetics, to exclude the sauna, solarium, swimming pool and not to walk in the rain without an umbrella.

When 24 hours have passed, the artificial eyelashes have already become like family. Now everything is possible! Swim in any water, even sea or chlorinated water, use eye shadow and eyeliner, and even sleep with your face in the pillow.

The main thing is to follow the rules of care:

1. Once or twice a day, gently comb your eyelashes with a brush, which we will give you after extensions.

2. Wash your eyes in the morning and evening: you can use plain water, you can use micellar water, you can use foam/gel to remove makeup.
